How to Change Your Printer Ink
This is an experience most have encountered: you are in a rush, trying to print out a document, and the ink runs out. You have no time to go to someone to service it, nor to print somewhere else. This is an experience which is increasingly common, especially when almost everything us humans have are in digitalized from; documents, pictures, even graphs and other data. Hence, it is really important for us to know how we can refill the ink in our printers ourselves—without fuss or stress.
To anticipate impending printer emergencies, there are two things we need to have at hand at all times: our printer’s guide, and a stock of ink. Printer ink comes in cartridges, such as the brother lc61 ink. It is recommended to stick to your printer guide if possible, but if you do not have it at hand or if the instructions are not clear enough, there are certain methods which you can look into. First, you should open your printer flap to expose the inner workings. When your printer is combined with a scanner, the flap is located below the scanner for certain models. Most printers come with a ‘change cartridge’ button, which is typically located near the power button, which you should press. Then, spot your ink cartridge by looking for a mark in the form of an indentation or colored label. Remove it by taking it up and out of its holder gently.
